BridgeCare - Excellence in Everything We Do
Our BridgeCare Program provides our Associates with recognition and rewards for going 'the extra mile' whenever they meet, greet or encounter any of our Guests.
It's a program that encourages all of us to look for that extra-added service or improved communication to ensure that our Guests always experience the most memorable stay possible.
Going above and beyond is not that difficult - in fact, it's easy. It's done by listening. It's done by observing. It's done by anticipating a Guest's needs or wants, without being asked. It's almost second nature. Communicating with our Guests, and taking every opportunity to demonstrate that BridgeStreet really cares about our Customers.
We are proud to share the stories of some of our "BridgeStars"... |

Melanie Buechler New York, NY |
Melanie Buechler, the Account Manager in New York, realized that a high percentage of guests were expatriate spouses who often felt overwhelmed by the transition of living in a new city. Melanie was determined to improve their relocation experience and make their lives a little easier.
With the aid of relocation professionals, she created a networking forum titled "What About Me?" that brings these guests together in a social and educational setting. The program offers assistance by having them share ideas, experiences and knowledge while also providing them with advice on assimilating into a new culture. |

 Heather Linton Columbus, OH |
Heather Linton, the Accommodations Coordinator in Columbus found a truly unique way to show support for Mark, a frequent guest. Mark was running in a local marathon but as Heather discovered his family and friends were not in town to help cheer him on.
Heather created a banner and enlisted other BridgeStreet associates to join her in cheering Mark on throughout the race and at the finish line. Heather captured Mark’s crossing the finish line on film and Mark was thrilled to see BridgeStreet friends applauding his finish.

 Sarah Harris Louisville, KY |
Mr. And Mrs. D moved in last July when a very bad storm caused a tree to fall on their home, causing it to have to be re-built. Mrs. D has been very upset about not being in her home, and the holidays were very hard for her. Sarah was speaking with Mrs. D one day in early December and she was in tears over not having her Christmas decorations, especially because of the young grandsons who live with her. Sarah had taken them a play station that BridgeStreet had in our warehouse, because theirs was destroyed.
Sarah went to a nearby dollar store which actually has very nice Christmas décor. She purchased ribbon, ornaments, and a holly ring and decorated her dining table. Sarah also purchased stockings for the whole family, filled them with goodies and hung them on the mantle. She bought a Christmas jar, and filled it with chocolate Christmas candies to set out on the coffee table. Sarah arranged a Christmas plate and two different types of cookies and set them out on the plate.
Mrs. D came home while Sarah was still decorating and hugged her and cried, and said that no one had ever been that good to her. Mrs. D was so thrilled with all of the items, and very touched that we thought of her and her family.
